We are run by volunteers and are sure to need more help in the near future, but at the moment we have temporarily paused requesting more. We are really busy working through everyone who has applied so far. Thanks to all of you who have completed our form.
We will switch the "volunteer button" back on soon, so please keep an eye on this page. Thank you!

About Torpedos
Southwell Torpedos was founded in March 2020 in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Torpedos is an anagram of "doorstep" which is where we provide help. Our local volunteers have made hundreds and hundreds of deliveries since then.
We are now established as a community support group with an appropriate constitution, managing committee and bank account.
We have partnered with HelpMyStreet.org which is an online portal to link up requests for help with our volunteers directly. Please see https://www.helpmystreet.org/southwell
At some point, hopefully soon, the Covid crisis will end. However, we're planning to continue with Torpedos into the future - backed by the amazing volunteers who've joined the group.
If you know of anyone who you think needs help, please let them have our number: 01636 330005 or visit HelpMyStreet
